Are you looking for an activity where you can have fun, stay active, and learn? Judo clubs are your gateway to an exciting world. On the tatami, everything begins with a simple bow, but soon, you’ll discover much more than just a sport—judo teaches discipline, respect, and self-confidence.
At your club, you’ll be surrounded by people who, like you, want to learn and improve. Your coaches will guide you every step of the way, helping you master techniques, build strength, and have fun in a safe environment. Whether you’re here to enjoy yourself, push your limits, or even dream of competitions, judo is for everyone!
So, are you ready to step into the world of judo? Or are you still thinking about it? Awesome!
To sign up for your first classes, you need to find a dojo near you. We provide an interactive map where you can locate your province and find the provincial association that can assist you if you can’t find a dojo through your search.
Each dojo has its own schedule and registration process, so you’ll need to contact them directly for more details.
In judo, your sensei is much more than a coach. He’s the one who teaches you how to master techniques, respect the values of judo, and push yourself to the limit. Thanks to his experience and passion, he will show you how to progress, step by step, while having fun.
With your sensei, you’ll learn how to fall, get back up, attack, and defend yourself, but above all, never give up. He’ll be there to encourage you, correct you, and celebrate every small victory with you. On the mat, every piece of advice counts, and every training session brings you closer to the best version of yourself.
In every judo club, there are people who, without seeking recognition, play an essential role. These are our volunteers. They dedicate their time, energy, and passion to keeping your dojo alive, supporting judokas like you, and ensuring that every training session runs smoothly. Whether it’s organizing events, mentoring younger judokas, or simply offering their help during competitions, their commitment is invaluable and immeasurable.
A club’s life wouldn’t be the same without the dedication of volunteers. They are everywhere! At registrations, during activities outside of training, in administrative boards, and many instructors (senseis) don’t even count the hours they give to their students!
Judo is much more than just fighting techniques. It’s a true journey where you learn to know yourself, surpass yourself, and grow. Through practice, you’ll discover a multitude of activities that will help you progress both on and off the mat.
Fundraisers, tournaments, group activities, and outings—there are many opportunities to participate in club life.
Your dojo is much more than just a training ground; it’s a true sanctuary of judo. From the moment you walk through the door, you enter a space where discipline, respect, and commitment combine to create a unique atmosphere. This is where you will learn to master techniques, progress, and take on new challenges.
Dojos are designed to allow you to give the best of yourself. The tatami, the symbol of judo, is a place where you can express yourself, refine your movements, and test your limits. The dojo walls bear witness to thousands of achievements, falls, and successes, and every corner of this space is imbued with the history of those who have walked it before you.
Embark on the Road to Judo Holidays filled with adventure and new experiences!
As a beginner or an experienced judoka, this adventure allows you to progress while living your best life. Summer is the perfect time to refine your judo skills without the pressure of regular training. What your goal will be? These moments are ideal for exploring new approaches, practicing katas, or strengthening fundamental techniques in randori.
The more judokas there are, the more fun we have!
At the dojo we often meet people who will become our friends but the opposite is also true. When we invite our friends to discover judo it allows us to perhaps have a new activity in common, to have even more fun practicing judo or simply to discover a side of ourselves that they did not even suspect! In any case, judo is made to be shared and therefore to try!
